About

Connections are the pulse and rhythm of New York City.  This is what Christine Carrier Arts offers across the fine art, luxury and fashion worlds. Combining her success as a producer of international art fairs in Miami and New York City over the past five years, with her expertise in the luxury industry, clients trust Christine to advise them on strategic positioning in the market place - be that a booth at an art fair in Miami, a pop-up show in NYC or a collaboration with an avant-garde fashion designer for a signature lifestyle piece.

With roots also in the fashion world from her time at Women's Wear Daily (WWD), Christine has a unique vantage point and identifies opportunities and partnerships where others never see a possibility.

Christine Carrier Arts, an art world concierge management company, offers its clients the connections and resources acquired over three decades in the international fine arts world.

Curatorial Statement

In 1993, Christine Carrier curated the show “Mixed Media,” a vernissage in Manhattan, featuring paintings by Mark Wiener and pottery by Shirley Anderson. Later that same year, she partnered with Mark Weiner and curated the private show, “Abbreviations,” at his studio.

In 1998, Christine guest-curated the show, “Christine Carrier Chiquelin Curates” at the George Billis Gallery, presenting the works of Arianna Caroli, Lisa A. Carrier, Greg Kessler, Cho Sang, Andrea Maria Taormina and Mark Wiener. In addition, Ms. Carrier returned to the George Billis Gallery with an updated roster of artists, including Michael Tice, Richard Orient, Arianna Caroli, Norma Behr and Mark Wiener.

From 2009 through 2011, Christine co-chaired the Benefit Committee and sat on the Volunteer and Entertainment Committees of Musicians for Harmony’s “Concert for Peace,” held annually on September 11th at Merkin Concert Hall and Kaufman Music Center. The 2011 concert marked its 10th anniversary and the Julliard String Quartet, New York Arabic Orchestra, Mary Wilson of the Supremes and the Shanghai Quartet were among the participants.

Between 2010 and 2014, Christine worked as the Producer for the Red Dot Art Fair and between 2011 and 2015, she consulted with Select Art Fair. 2015 also marked the founding of Christine Carrier Arts, an art world concierge management company. Its inaugural event, “12 Nights of Openings,” held at Studio 26 in NYC, was a mix of private events for collectors and public events for art enthusiasts. “12 Nights of Openings” operated like a mini art-fair, tailored to the ever-changing art scene of the East Village.

She currently sits on the Art Advisory Board of the Young Artists for St. Jude Hospital.
